Sinossi: Oltre al surriscaldamento globale, cè anche un altro pericolo che incombe sullArtico. Pericolosi pesticidi da tutto il mondo raggiungono il polo, portati da venti e onde, avvelenando persone ed animali. Due ragazze nel Nord del Greenland stanno viaggiando verso un villaggio che sta scomparendo, dove ancora un abitante è in vita. Sullo sfondo di un paesaggio che va sciogliendosi, discutono dellinquinamento, che non sta soltanto cambiando drammaticamente le loro esistenza, bensì minacciando il mondo intero.
Synopsis: Apart from global warning, there is another threat to the Arctic lingering underneath the surface. Dangerous pesticides from all over the world are being carried to the poles by northbound wind and waves, poisoning animals and people. Two girls in Northern Greenland are traveling to a disappearing village where one of them still lives. Against a background of melting ice they discuss the pollution which is not only dramatically changing their lives but threatening the entire world.

| Nei primi anni settanta, Jan van den Berg ha cominciato a girare film a partire dal proprio campo di interessi
e di studi, lantropologia culturale. Ha fondato la casa di produzione, drsFilm. Nel 1975 dirige il suo
primo film, Olverenos, sugli abitanti di un villaggio in Andalusia. In the early 70s Jan van den Berg started making films in his original field of study, cultural anthropology, he founded the drsFILM production company together with writers, artists and filmmakers. He directed his first film, Olverenos in 1975, about the inhabitants of a village in Andalusia.
